Backup Snapshot Elasticsearch 8 and Restore Another Node with GCS

Elasticsearch is a powerful search engine that can handle large amounts of data. It is important to have a proper backup strategy in place to ensure that your data is safe in the event of a disaster. In the previous post we discussed how to setup ElasticSearch which can be seen here, and now we will discuss how to create a backup snapshot of Elasticsearch 8 and restore it on another node using Google Cloud Storage (GCS).
